Roger and Teresa opened The Grounds Guys of Avon in 2002. Roger grew up on a farm and worked at a landscape nursery at the age of 15 and never strayed far from the industry. Teresa is an office manager for a local Chiropractic / Rehab facility, and also works for our business in the evenings and on weekends. She takes care of the bills, and keeping Roger in line. Teresa is the true back bone of the company! Together Roger and Teresa have 3 grown boys. Their youngest is Mike and he works with the business full time. He has worked with them since he was only 6 years old. Back then, he would pick up sticks and hand out door hangers. Mike loves the outdoors and is a valued asset to the family business! He is a great crew leader and is in charge of our enhancement crews. Their middle son is Josh and he works with the business full time as well. He has worked with them since he was only 8 years old. Just like Mike, Josh would pickup sticks and hand out door hangers. Josh is a valued part of the team and is in charge of our maintenance crew. Josh loves being part of our family business and loves to go to the park on his off time. Roger runs the daily business operation and is responsible for the design process. He works with his customers to learn their needs and is involved in every step of the design, installation and completion of a project. Roger’s creativity and professionalism make him the landscaper of choice for your next project
